Our team actively participates in community service through various programmes and collaborations, including our 4 Brain Foundation. By participating in these initiatives, we strive to make a difference and support initiatives that create meaningful change.
4Brain
4Brain is a joint initiative of Schelstraete Delacourt and Ghent University to benefit brain research. Neuroscientists from the 4Brain research team at Ghent University conduct translational neuroscience to unravel the pathophysiology of neuropsychiatric disorders and develop new therapies. Multimodal neuroscience techniques are used to excel in the field of neuroscience and bridge the gap between preclinical and clinical research. The first edition in 2018 raised almost €85,000, entirely for the benefit of the 4Brain research team at Ghent University. By 2024, we will have raised more than €200,000.
Streekfonds
Schelstraete Delacourt is proud to be a structural partner of Streekfonds. We support the work and projects of Streekfonds Oost-Vlaanderen.
Streekfonds Oost-Vlaanderen strengthens local projects that connect people with each other and with the environment. In the Ghent region, we support projects that increase the resilience and resilience of young people. The Streekfonds connects donors and doers in an inspiring and active network and realises concrete impact in our neighbourhood.
